Name the person, approximate booking date, and requested record, and ask the custodian what can be released and what charges, redactions, or use statement may apply.

General information is 770-483-6600, Records is 770-929-4207, and the reports office operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding major holidays.
- Rockdale Clerk and courts: use the Rockdale Clerk and re:SearchGA for docket events, filings, and disposition information. Court records are not a live jail roster or a booking-photo source.
- Georgia Department of Corrections: use the official GDC offender search for a state-corrections record. It is not a list of everyone arrested or booked in Rockdale County.
- Federal custody: use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal inmates and the ICE Online Detainee Locator for immigration custody. These systems are not alternate Rockdale County jail feeds.

A narrow request is easier for a custodian to identify. State whether you want a booking sheet, intake record, booking photograph, incident report, or court document. Include the person's full name, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency if known, case number or booking number if available, and a way for the office to contact you about redactions or cost.
RCSO accepts in-person open-records requests during the published weekday hours above. CPD asks requesters to provide enough detail for its staff to locate and review records. A response about whether records exist or can be released is not the same as a promise that every requested item will be produced, and a booking entry is an accusation rather than proof of guilt.
